The recently concluded Pacquiao-Hatton match showcased the true heart and the solid fist of the pacman. This lop-sided match has already engraved the pacman’s name in the Boxing Hall of Fame. Just moments after Hatton came tumbling down, one instance caught my eye and asked my self, “is this scripted?”. Why? I’ll show some clips.

The images are arranged chronologically from left to right, top to bottom. This moment was before Pacquiao went to his corner and pray. This entry may be of no significance to others but i just want to show what i have observed. First image, Pacquiao was carried by Buboy. 2nd image, Pacquiao was on the ring and notice the HBO guy to the right pointing downward as if commanding someone. 3rd image, Pacquiao looked at the fat guy with the HBO shirt (i have known that the black shirted-guy is from HBO when i reviewed the replays on the TV). 4th image, Pacman looked abruptly. 5th image, Pacquiao quickly walked towards the corner and kneeled. You can see this clip here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=avmB5sX8FXA around 3:04. The video is quite cropped but u can notice the Pacman’s reaction.

I will pose some questions: what could be the purpose of that sign pointing downwards that was seen by the Pacman and made himself abruptly in the corner? Was that a reminder that he must pray? Why would someone from HBO tell him what to do? Was the fight scripted?

I am a Pacman Fan but i can’t think of any possible explanation why would that happen. This post is open for criticisms and other opinions. You can watch the whole round 2 when uploaders of the youtube goes to work.

Lethal Combination: Pacman vs. Diaz May 15, 2008

JUNE 29, 2008, Manila time. A phenomenal fight between two of the most exciting boxers in their weight class as well as the whole planet will be underway. Both equipped with deadly punches in their arsenal, both fighters are so determined to win by knock out or even exhaust all 12 rounds for the decision. Pacman, on one hand, definitely has speed that he can make use throughout the fight and the power punch that can rock anyone that will be its target. Although, Pacman did not have a very convincing win on his last fight against Marquez that later on made him the WBC Super Featherweight champion. On the other hand, Diaz has the “punch” that he is working on in his long training for the fight but he definitely lags behind Pacman when it comes to speed. Both fighters will surely give us an entertaining and explosive match that would definitely be unforgettable.

In their press conference, both seem to be happy and excited about their fight. No intimidation and ego boosters or whatsoever is going on between them and they are probably thinking that it is not needed to promote a good fight. Both fighter has something to prove here and it is to be the best, Pacman eyeing for his 4th title in his 4th weight class and Diaz is aiming for his name to be recognized for beating Pacman.

A lot of theories are going on forums whether Hatton or campbell would be Pacman’s next target. A Unification title fight perhaps? Or supremacy in 5 weight classes he went through. One thing is for sure, Pacman is bagging some sacks of money.
